GHANTI KHUILE
Ghanti Khuile chicken is hardy and dual purpose suitable for meat and eggs. They are hardy and good for scavenging condition. They are found throughout the country. Their population is very low and need conservation attention. The Ghanti Khuile breed of poultry is a typical bird with few feathers in neck, different feather color, and hardy in nature, noted for delicacy of meat. The egg production capacity is 60 to 80 /year. The average adult body weight of male is 1.6 and female is 1.30 kg.
SHAKINI
Shakini is the principal chicken breed in the country. They are hardy and dual purpose suitable for meat (reputed for delicious meat) and eggs. They are found throughout the country. They have been characterized on phenotypic level. They are normal and are not at risk from conservation point of view. The local Shakini breed of poultry is a small in body size, different feather colour, and hardy in nature. The egg production capacity is 70 to 80 /year. The average adult body weight is 1.5 to 2.0 kg.
NEW HAMPSHIRE
The New Hampshire breed of chicken originated in the state of New Hampshire in the United States. Poultry farmers, starting with Rhode Island Reds and performing generation after generation of selective breeding, intensified the characteristics of early maturity, rapid full feathering, and production of large brown eggs. The mature birds are a rich chestnut red, of a somewhat lighter and more even shade than the Rhode Island Reds. The chicks are also a lighter red.

Kadaknath, also called Kali Masi ("fowl having black flesh"), is an Indian breed of chicken. They originated from Dhar and Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh, Bastar (Chhattisgarh) and the adjoining districts of Gujarat and Rajasthan, covering about 800 square miles (2,100 km2). These birds are mostly bred by the rural poor, tribals and adivasis. The Kadaknath is considered to be sacred; after Diwali it is sacrificed to the Goddess.There are three varieties: jet black, golden and pencilled. The breed's meat has a fat content of 0.73–1.03% compared to the 13–25% of most other chicken breeds. The meat from this breed has a geographical indication (GI Tag) tag that was approved by the Indian government on 30 July 2018.
